The Phoenix 170 is a grand piano that, despite its modest length, sounds like a semi-concert grand piano. The cabinet was built at the Steingraeber & Söhne factory in Bayreuth, Germany.
It incorporates a carbon-fiber vocal board manufactured at MacLaren of Formula 1 to the exact specifications of Richard Dain, the inventor of the Phoenix system.
Furthermore, this instrument contains Phoenix bridge agrapphes and has a composite action from Wessell, Nickel & Gross.
It is a joy to play and listen to the instrument. Bright treble with a full bass.
