This revolutionary piano is the first piano with a Kevlar soundboard. Kevlar is extremely strong, very flexible and yet has the warm sound of a wooden soundboard.

Optimized for use in recording studios

Phoenix pianos are optimally suited for use in recording studios. This is where they come into their own, as the sound lends itself very well to crisp clear recordings that require little post-processing.

PianoVisions recently delivered a Phoenix 130 piano with Carbon Fibre sound board to the pianist of Davina Michelle’s band. This is being used in their recording studio.

The cabinet of Phoenix pianos are built at the renowned Steingräber & Sohne piano factory in Germany. Then they are finished in England with the very latest piano techniques.

It includes bridge agraphes that ensure optimal sound transfer from the strings to the Kevlar soundboard. As a result, a 130 cm high piano has the power of a full grand piano. The piano action has been optimized so it plays tremendously fine. Keys made of high-quality plastic that breathe and feel like ivory.
