The first pianolas were separate devices that you could slide in front of your own piano or grand piano. The device has mechanical fingers that are located just above the keys. Through two foot pedals, it can play your instrument.
This instrument was built in 1902. It is completely original and still plays! This is unique. For optimal operation, however, a restoration is recommended.
In the photo, this push-up player plays an upright piano from the same era.
In working, original condition.
Listed price for instrument in current condition. If desired, this push-up player can be restored by PianoVisions at favorable additional cost.
